Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage:
On tap for tonight's episode, we'll see the return of Kenny Omega. Given how he was set up for a feud with Andrade El Idolo prior to all the contract issues, and the rivalry with The Don Callis Family that is ongoing, I expect everything to pick up where they left off with that.
Darby Allin has specifically stated that he's beaten everyone within The Death Riders except PAC, so he should naturally beat him. Of course, Allin hasn't accomplished anything by beating them, but we're not supposed to pay attention to that logic.
The Triangle of Madness is absolutely beating Kris Statlander and The Babes of Wrath to set up some title shots for Thekla to fight for the AEW Women's World Championship and for The Sisters of Sin to get a tag title opportunity.
I don't, however, anticipate a good night for Bandido, who is simply not walking out of this event with the AEW World Championship under any circumstance. He could win the match through some kind of disqualification scenario, but AEW doesn't do those anywhere near as much as WWE (which is too heavily reliant upon them to tell any story). I do think something odd is happening here and there could be a rematch in the future with the Dynamite Diamond Ring on the line, but MJF isn't losing the title no matter what it is Tony Khan wants to do with positioning Bandido to not really lose 100%.
As far as the four-way title shot match goes, FTR had their stare down with The Don Callis Family before, so I guess Davis and Doyle?
Here are your results for AEW Maximun Carnage Dynamite - January 14, 2026:
- Darby Allin defeated PAC by pinfall with a Scorpion Deathlock.
- "Hangman" Adam Page defeated Bryan Keith by pinfall. After the match, Page and Swerve Strickland cut a promo about going after Samoa Joe and MJF. Kenny Omega interrupted to remind them that he's also coming for the title. More respect with Page than Strickland in regards to Omega. Don Callis then came out, flanked by a few of his goons, putting out a challenge for Omega to face Josh Alexander. When Omega was down for it, Callis backed out to say they should have the match next week instead of right now.
- Brody King squashed Jonathan Cruz.
- 4-Way Tag Team Match for a Future AEW Men's World Tag Team Championship Title Shot Against FTR: The Don Callis Family's Mark Davis and Jake Doyle defeated The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson), GOA (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona), JetSpeed ("The Jet" Kevin Knight and "Speedball" Mike Bailey) by pinfall.
- SkyFlight had a backstage promo to hype up their matches for Collision (Zayda Steel against Marina Shafir and Scorpio Sky and Top Flight against The Don Callis Family)
- Trios Match: The Triangle of Madness (Thekla and The Sisters of Sin - Julia Hart and Skye Blue) defeated The Cosmic Babes of Wrath (Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) by pinfall with Thekla pinning Statlander
- Swerve Strickland gave JetSpeed a pep talk backstage. Hangman then approached them about how he wants to team with them against The Opps for the trios titles on Collision.
- Singles Match for the AEW World Championship: MJF (c) defeated Bandido by submission. After the match, MJF put over Bandido as indeed as great as everyone says he is, so for the future of the industry, he has to do this...and then, attacked Bandido some more. As he was about to unmask him, Brody King came to the rescue.
