A women’s match has been made official for Dynamite.

AEW has confirmed that the women’s champion will be in action on Wednesday as Hikaru Shida will team with Kris Statlander to take on Nyla Rose and Penelope Ford. This will be the first in-ring interaction between Shida and Rose since the Washington D.C. native lost the belt to the 31-year-old at Double or Nothing.

Coming into the match-up, Rose has the advantage as Shida has failed to beat the former AEW Women’s Champion when it comes down to tag team matches. With Rose vying to reclaim the belt that she lost at the pay-per-view several weeks back, will Nyla Rose get another tag team victory over Hikaru Shida?

The loaded episode of AEW Dynamite also features a TNT Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Marq Quen, a six-man tag match between the Inner Circle (Jake Hager, Santana & Ortiz) and Best Friends (Chuckie T, Trent, Orange Cassidy), and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) vs. The Butcher and The Blade.
