Following tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite, we now know more of the card for both this Saturday's episode of AEW Collision, as well as next Wednesday's edition of Dynamite.
Off the heels of Orange Cassidy defeating Hechicero and "Speedball" Mike Bailey making his AEW debut with a win over The Beast Mortos, two of the four men competing in the AEW International Championship Eliminator Tournament have been settled.
This Saturday on Collision, the remaining two first-round winners will advance, as Ricochet will face The Opps' member Katsuyori Shibata and Mark Briscoe of The Conglomeration will face Mark Davis of The Don Callis Family.
As previously explained, the winners of Briscoe/Davis and Ricochet/Shibata will join Bailey and Cassidy next week on AEW Dynamite in a four-way, with the winner going on to face Kenny Omega for the AEW International Championship at the next pay-per-view, AEW Dynasty, coming up on April 6, 2025 at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Also set for Saturday's Collision will be a tag team rematch between FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) against The Undisputed Kingdom's Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong. They had previously fought on March 1st, with Strong and O'Reilly being victorious.
Back to next week's Dynamite, though, two top titles will be defended.
Mercedes Mone had a backstage interview with Renee Paquette and Billie Starkz, who had inserted herself into the feud between Mone and Momo Watanabe. Starkz made fun of Mone being kicked in the throat and having some voice problems, and spoke about how while Mone's had a lot of success, she, too, has her fair share of accomplishments, and plans on becoming a champion next week. Mone quickly accepted the challenge, but plans on showing Starkz that there's a price ot pay when you mess with Mercedes Mone.
Also, the AEW World Championship will be on the line in a Street Fight with Jon Moxley facing Cope in a rematch from AEW Revolution.
This came about because Cope doesn't consider coming up short last Sunday as a loss, since it was actually Christian Cage who Moxley defeated (via submission after Cage cashed in his title opportunity mid-match to make it a three-way). Moxley wants to prove that while he underestimated Cope, he does respect his fire, and he's going to make sure he doesn't make the same mistake twice when he beats him in a match where there are no rules.
