The viewership numbers are in for All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite, and it's good news for the company. While both that and NXT saw an increase in total viewers, AEW was well ahead of the competition with a massive win that reaffirmed its dominance as the #1 wrestling show on Wednesday nights.

Dynamite drew a total of 901,000 viewers compared to NXT's 753,000 viewers. Last week, the TNT show did 773,000 compared to NXT's 707,000, so there was clearly a lot more interest in Dynamite this time around. The show did boast an incredible card, not to mention the AEW debut of former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder).

As expected, AEW easily won the 18 - 49 demographic, ranking #5 for the night on cable compared to NXT which was at #27.

Once again, both shows had to content with competition from the MLB games, while there was also the NBA to contend with. Dynamite was headlined by All Elite Wrestling World Champion Jon Moxley taking on Darby Allin, and this was the highest viewed episode of the AEW show since March 18th (which did 932,000 viewers).
