Wrestling fans in the UK will ned to find a new way to watch All Elite Wrestling PPVs as ITV has announced today that their ITV Box Office service is closing down with immediate effect. The change comes as of today and there's currently no explanation as to why that is.
The only thing we do have is this brief statement: "The ITV Box Office service has ceased as of 24th January 2020. There are no further plans to show any future events on this channel."
Is this bad news for All Elite Wrestling? Yes and no. Fans can watch AEW PPV events through FITE TV but that service isn't readily available on some TVs and certainly not as easy to find or promote as ITV Box Office. Dynamite will, however, continue airing on ITV4.
The next AEW PPV is called Resolution and it takes place on February 29th. That gives the company time to figure out a solution so we'll keep you guys updated.
