While Beth Phoenix has had a presence in All Elite Wrestling by voicing "You think you know him" at the start of her husband Adam Copeland's entrance theme, Beth has made her official on-screen debut for the company with her appearance in the opening match (of the main card) for AEW All Out in Toronto on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
Kicking off the action after the Saturday Tailgate Brawl, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage teamed up against FTR. During the match, Stokely Hathaway was ringside and inserting himself into the situation, leading to Beth running to ringside to beat him up and exact some revenge for the things he's said and done about her and their family.
Cage and Cope were able to win the match, but weren't able to celebrate for long.
After the match, Mother Wayne and Kip Sabian came out, wheeling out Nick Wayne in a wheelchair, to cause a distraction that FTR was able to capitalize on. They continued to attack Cage while they handcuffed Cope to the ring ropes and went after Beth, who defiantly tried to take on both Harwood and Wheeler herself, only to suffer an assisted spike piledriver.
Cope was eventually cut off from his handcuffs with some bolt cutters as officials and medics tended to his wife.
Also noteworthy for the match was a moment where Adam Copeland paid homage to his former coworker and friend John Cena, by doing his signature slam leading into his "you can't see me" taunt, a Five Knuckle Shuffle, and an Attitude Adjustment.
This was Copeland returning the favor to what Cena did during his Friday Night SmackDown match against Sami Zayn recently, where he did Copeland's taunt to set up a spear as a reference to how he wishes he could have one more match with him during his retirement tour.
As this just transpired, there has been no confirmation that Beth Copeland has signed a bigger contract with the intention to wrestle matches, but it's safe to assume she'll likely step back into the ring in some fashion.
