The former MLW World Tag Team Champion is set to make his AEW Dark debut.

The second-generation wrestler will be taking on Shawn Spears on this week’s episode on Tuesday. Pillman Jr. confirmed the news himself on Twitter:

This isn’t Pillman Jr’s first time competing in an AEW ring as the 26-year-old was an entrant in the Casino Battle Royal at Double or Nothing in 2019. Despite his appearance, the second-generation star does remain under contract with MLW.

The MLW star re-signed a deal with the promotion before the official launch of AEW last year, though the length of his contract is currently unknown. According to Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net, MLW has first say when it comes to the booking of Brian; however, Major League Wrestling has been holding off events due to the coronavirus pandemic.
