Britt Baker May Have Suffered A Broken Nose During Her Match With Hikaru Shida On AEW DYNAMITE

Britt Baker went one-on-one with Hikaru Shida last night on AEW Dynamite in what was easily the good doctor's best match for the company yet. Unfortunately, it looks like she may have suffered a broken nose.

Britt Baker (DDS) took on the No. 1 ranked Hikaru Shida this week on Dynamite, and gave a great accounting for herself... despite coming up short and getting a bloody nose for her efforts!

The match went back and forth, with both women pulling out several near falls. In the end, though, Shida was able to hit a Shining Wizard (or whatever she calls her version of the move) to pick up the win.

Although we're not sure at exactly when it happened, at some point Baker must have been caught with a stiff shot to the face, because towards the end of the bout her nose began to gush blood. We don't know the extent of the damage (if it's broken she may have to miss some time), but Britt was still able to cut a promo afterwards so hopefully it wasn't too serious.

Shida has now won eight out of her last nine matches, and must surely have an AEW Women's Championship opportunity against Nyla Rose in her near future.
