Colt Cabana Confirmed As The Second Entrant Of The Casino Ladder Match At DOUBLE OR NOTHING

Colt Cabana will get an opportunity to become the next challenger for the AEW World Championship.

This past weekend, Darby Allin was confirmed as the first entrant of the first-ever Casino Ladder match at Double or Nothing and now, Colt Cabana will join him on May 23rd.  The AEW newcomer is still finding his footing on the roster, but Cabana has the wrestling experience that Allin doesn’t.

The 40-year-old has been competing inside the squared circle since 1999 and has fought in Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, WWE, Wrestling Society X, Revolution Pro Wrestling, DDT Pro-Wrestling, and National Wrestling Alliance.

Cabana knows how to climb to the top of the mountain as the Chicago native is a former NWA World Heavyweight and National Champion, RPW British Heavyweight Champion, and Ironman Heavymetalweight Champion. Like Allin, Cabana was knocked out of the TNT Championship Tournament thanks to Lance Archer, so the veteran is surely looking to rebound with a big win here.

Here’s the updated card for Double or Nothing on May 23:

AEW World Championship match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Brodie Lee

TNT Championship Tournament match: Cody vs. Lance Archer

Maxwell Jacob Friedman vs. Jungle Boy

Casino Ladder match for an AEW World Title Shot:  Darby Allin vs. Colt Cabana vs. more TBA
