Double or Nothing could end up not taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena next month.

The arena announced on its website that all events through May 31 have been cancelled or postponed. Double or Nothing is scheduled for May 23, with an episode of Dynamite set to be live for May 27 at the arena.

AEW has yet to cancel the pay-per-view and the company is still booking with plans of Double or Nothing in mind. The arena themselves have not taken Double or Nothing off their schedule; however, every other show from now until August 28th has been scrapped or pushed back. The TNT Championship tournament finals is set to take place during the pay-per-view.

As of this writing, there’s no word on what officials plan to do if they can’t host Double or Nothing in Las Vegas. The coronavirus epidemic continues to studied day by day and it’s possible that the situation could get better by the time May 23 rolls around. Other than the TNT Championship Tournament finals, no other match-up has been confirmed for the pay-per-view.
