Eddie Kingston is back!

On the September 6th edition of AEW Collision, Big Bill surprisingly called out the inaugural Continental Champion.

Eddie was injured during his Last Man Standing match against Gabe Kidd in May 2024. He suffered a leg injury, which required surgery for a fractured tibia, torn ACL, and meniscus tear.

It’s been over a year since the injury and it didn’t sound like he was coming back to the ring anytime soon, but that all changed on Collision. Big Bill destroyed Max Caster in his latest open challenge. Following his match, Bill trashed the fans, Eddie Kingston, and Japanese wrestling, and confirmed that he wanted a match against Kingston for All Out.

Kingston accepted the challenge a few days later by responding to Big Bill on Threads.

“So got the phone call and the money is right contract is signed on my end. So Big Bill you dumb goofy bastard just send loctation.”

This is Kingston’s first AEW match since Dynasty 2024 where he teamed with Adam Copeland and Mark Briscoe to take on The House of Black (Brody King, Buddy Matthews & Malakai Black). The House of Black won that match. The addition of Big Bill vs. Eddie Kingston makes the All Out card even more star studded.
