Ricky Starks is All Elite!

The former NWA Television Champion announced his departure from the company earlier this year, and there was a lot of speculation that he'd soon be on his way to AEW. Cody made it clear that anyone from any promotion could answer his open challenge for a shot at the TNT Championship, and Starks did just that during last night's episode of Dynamite.

The talented New Orleans native pushed the American Nightmare to his limit, using his aerial ability and technical expertise to keep his opponent off balance and on the offensive. In the end, though, a minor mistake cost Starks and Cody was able to counter into a devastating CrossRhodes to pick up the victory and retain his title.

After the match, Tony Khan too to Twitter to announce that Starks had officially signed on as a member of the AEW roster.
