Jake Hager will finally make his in-ring debut for All Elite Wrestling.
On last night’s episode, Dustin Rhodes got some retribution from the vile attack by Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager last year. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion pinned the ‘Spanish God’ after a solid back-and-forth contest.
Then, Rhodes got on the microphone and called out the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Dustin stated that Hager was Jericho’s bitch and that his mixed martial arts career was failing. Of course, this pissed off the muscle of The Inner Circle; however, the 37-year-old left in anger instead of giving a response.
Later on, the one-one-one match-up was confirmed by the announcers themselves. This will officially be Hager’s first match inside of an AEW ring. In fact, his last televised wrestling match was against Pentagon Dark in Lucha Underground back in 2018. Hager would win the Lucha Underground Championship on the final episode of the promotion.
