Jon Moxley managed to retain the AEW Championship in the main event of All Out last night, but he won by utilizing the one move he was actually banned from using during the match.

Mox signed a contract last week on Dynamite which officially confirmed that his Paradigm Shift would be outlawed for his title match with MJF, but he got around it by hitting the move behind the referee's back and scoring the pinfall victory, handing a bloody and broken Freedman his first singles loss in the process.

Many fans really thought this might be The Salt of the Earth's night, but at least he can fall back on the fact that Mox did cheat to win, hopefully gaining another title shot down the line. Moxley's next challenger will be Lance Archer, who won the Casino Battle Royal earlier in the night.
