Jon Moxley Will Now Defend The AEW Title Against Brian Cage At FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN

Unfortunately, we won't get to see Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage for the AEW Championship next Wednesday, but the good news is the match has only been postponed by 1 week.

Last night during Night 1 of Fyter Fest, it was announced that the title bout will now take place on July 15th at AEW's next special event, Fight for the Fallen. This news comes on the heels of Mox being forced to stay home and miss Dynamite tapings after coming into contact with someone who had tested positive for COVID-19 (that would be his wife, WWE's Renee Young).

Taz cut a strong promo during last night's show, pointing out that the Purveyor of Violence has since tested negative twice, which means he must have politic'd to get the match delayed because he has a case of the "chicken shits." The Human Suplex Machine also seized the opportunity to take a shot at WWE's "sloppy" testing policy.
