Kenny Omega defeated PAC in a 30-minute Iron Man Match to kick-off this week's episode of AEW Dynamite, and it was among the best bouts we've seen in the promotion thus far.
Both of these guys are at the very top of their game, which was evident from the start and all throughout the match. There were several huge, potentially very dangerous spots (Falcon Arrow to the floor, Shooting Star Press through a table) and quite a few near-falls before Omega scored the first point by DQ when PAC walloped him with a steel chair. The Bastard then hit his Black Arrow to even things up, and they were right back at it.
In the end, PAC locked on The Brutalizer for several minutes, but Kenny refused to quit and the clock ran out. The match was then restarted under sudden death rules, and The Cleaner was able to hit his One Winged Angel to win the bout 2-1.
An end to this intense rivalry for now, it seems, but we hope to see these guys lock-up again very soon.
