Kiera Hogan confirms that she’s gone from AEW.
It was confirmed last month that Hogan was gone from the promotion. The biggest indicator of her departure was that Kiera’s profile was removed from the roster page. The 31-year-old had been quiet since the news hit, but during a recent virtual signing with RDP Promotions, Kiera finally made it clear that she’s no longer with the company.
“No,” Hogan responded when a chat user asked her if she was still with AEW. “I worked at AEW until this year, and now I am a free agent.”
However, Hogan doesn’t have anything negative to say about AEW as she was gratitude for her time and is open to returning someday.
“Absolutely,” Hogan replied when asked if she misses being on AEW/ROH. “I mean, I’m so grateful for AEW and the time that I had at AEW. Doors are never closed. Same thing with IMPACT. I know doors are never closed. I’m actually on a little bit of a break right now, because I have something coming up, but I will talk about that later. But, just know, I’m not done with wrestling. You will see me on somebody else’s screen very soon, okay? She’s not done.”
Of course, the subject of WWE came up and Kiera she’s definitely ready to bring the heat in the top promotion.
“I mean, never say never, right? Who’s to say I don’t go to WWE and help make it better? You know what I’m saying?… Maybe the WWE just needs some heat, and they ain’t find it yet so maybe they just waiting on me.”
Kiera hadn't wrestled a single match for AEW/ROH since April 2024. The former TNA/Impact Wrestling had such a promising outlook when she made her debut in 2017. Kiera was a hot prospect when she left TNA/Impact Wrestling in 2021 for AEW.
Unfortunately, injuries plagued the tail end of her career, though Hogan wasn’t injured for a good majority of it. Once they got her away from Jade Cargill in 2022 then they shipped her off to ROH and didn’t do much with her beyond a couple of title matches including an underrated street fight against Athena.
It wouldn’t be surprising if she was given a shot at WWE. Though that won’t be anytime soon as Kiera suffered a dislocated shoulder during a fight on her reality television series, Joseline’s Cabaret: California. There’s no timetable for her in-ring return.
