Kiera Hogan is officially done with AEW.
Kiera Hogan's profile was removed from the roster page making the news official. Kiera hasn't wrestled a single match for AEW/ROH since April 2024. The former TNA/Impact Wrestling had such a promising outlook when she made her debut in 2017. Kiera was a hot prospect when she left TNA/Impact Wrestling in 2021 for AEW.
She was paired with Jade Cargill and Red Velvet and the group called themselves The Baddies. But Hogan was removed from the faction in late 2022.
Since then, Hogan was a mainstay in Ring of Honor. She’s had a couple of great matches in the promotion such as a Street Fight against Athena, but Hogan mainly floated around the mid-card.
The 31-year-old was sidelined with an injury back in June 2024, but rumors circulated that she would be returning to AEW around January. That never happened. She did make her in-ring return back in April with her TNA/Impact Wrestling partner, Tasha Steelz. That’s the only match she’s had in 2025. Apparently, Kiera suffered a dislocated shoulder during a fight on her reality television series, Joseline’s Cabaret: California.
There’s no word on whether AEW had plans for Hogan. But according to the report, there is no hard feelings between both sides and Kiera knew for quite some time that she was exiting the company.
Sean Ross Sapp’s report indications that the company simply opted to not renew Hogan’s contract, though that has yet to be confirmed.
"Sources we spoke to in the company said that there wasn't ill will, and that she hadn't been backstage much, if at all in the last year," Sapp stated. "This move was expected, and was claimed to be a contract expiration by one source, though we're working to verify."
It’s being reported that Keira still plans to continue wrestling, though it’s unknown when she'll be able to return from her latest injury. It’s disappointing that AEW didn’t properly use Hogan after her exit from The Baddies, but you can’t blame them too much since she’s been out for nearly two years with an injury.
It’s quite possible that she could end up back in TNA Wrestling, though WWE isn’t out of the question. There’s no word on whether the company has interest in Kiera Hogan, but it would be surprising if she isn’t taken by one of those two promotions. Thus far, Hogan has spoken about her AEW departure.
