On the March 28, 2026 episode of AEW Collision, Kyle Fletcher suffered an injury in his tag team match alongside Mark Davis against The Rascalz. The Protostar tore his meniscus, which should put him on the shelf for a long enough time that it was announced on tonight's AEW Dynamite broadcast that he has been forced to relinquish the AEW TNT Championship.

Fletcher had won the title for the second time on the February 11, 2026 edition of AEW Dynamite, holding it for 56 days. According to Don Callis, Fletcher was originally scheduled to team with Kazuchika Okada against The Young Bucks at AEW Dynasty, but that match has been changed to be Konosuke Takeshita teaming with Okada instead.

To settle the new TNT champion, a Casino Gauntlet match will take place this Sunday at AEW Dynasty.

True to its nature, not all of the potential competitors have been announced. This gimmick lends itself to the idea that the match can end at any time while more people are still coming out, which means earning the #1 entrant spot is the coveted place to be.

That spot has been settled with Tommaso Ciampa defeating Mascara Dorada for that #1 entry spot.

Coming up on this Saturday's episode of AEW Collision, there will be another match between RUSH and Anthony Bowens to settle who gets the #2 entry spot.

With that in mind, here is the updated card for AEW Dynasty:

  • Singles Match: Alex Windsor vs. Marina Shafir
  • Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship: FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) (c) (with Stokely) vs. Cope and Cage (Adam Copeland and Christian Cage)
  • Singles Match for the AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Will Ospreay
  • Singles Match: Andrade El Ídolo vs. Darby Allin — Stipulation: If Allin wins, he will get a future AEW World Championship match
  • Singles Match for the AEW Women's World Championship: Thekla (c) vs. Jamie Hayter
  • Casino Gauntlet Match for the AEW TNT Championship: Tommaso Ciampa vs. Participants TBA
  • Tag Team Match: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs. Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita)
  • Singles Match: Chris Jericho vs. Ricochet
  • Singles Match for the AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Kenny Omega
