Mercedes Moné Wins 13th (or 14th?) Championship From Red Velvet On AEW Collision

Ultimo Moné is now officially a thirteen title holder after defeating lineal champion Red Velvet for the ROH Women's World Television Championship, which Mercedes had previously won the interim title for.

On October 18, 2025, Mercedes Mone defeated Mina Shirakawa to win the Interim ROH Women's World Television Championship (putting her AEW TBS Championship on the line in the process). That earned her the eventual match which took place on tonight's episode of AEW Collision against Red Velvet, the lineal champion.

Velvet has been out of action since June 28, when she lost to Kaylia Capri by disqualification at the ACW Baha Bash 2 event. Her last match for All Elite Wrestling / Ring of Honor was the ROH Global Wars Mexico special on June 18th in yet another losing effort, teaming with Athena against Persephone and Thunder Rosa.

Velvet suffered an injury in that match, and was originally thought to potentially work through it, only to be on the shelf up until tonight.

In the meantime, at ROH Supercard of Honor on July 11th, Shirakawa defeated Persephone, Yuka Sakazaki, and Miyu Yamashita to win the interim title in a four-way, holding it until AEW WrestleDream on October 18th, when she lost to Mone in a Winner Takes All match which was also for the AEW TBS Championship.

While this win tonight for Mone technically doesn't mean she wins another championship as in something completely different, as being interim champion and beating the lineal champion just means Mone is now the lineal champ, AEW is treating it as another notch in her belt—pun intended. Essentially, because she can now carry around the interim and lineal title belts, she physically has these 14 belts in her possession, even though they're referring to it as her 13th at the moment:

  1. AEW TBS Championship (won May 26, 2024)
  2. RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship
  3. Queen of the Southside Championship (won January 5, 2025)
  4. AEW Owen Hart Cup Tournament (won May 25, 2025)
  5. European Wrestling Association EWA Women's Championship (won June 6, 2025)
  6. Consejo Mundial De Lucha Libre CMLL World Women's Championship (won June 18, 2025)
  7. Bestya Women's Championship (won July 27, 2025)
  8. Prime Time Wrestling Women's Championship (won July 27, 2025)
  9. Discovery Wrestling Women's Championship (won August 23, 2025)
  10. BODYSLAM Women's Championship (won October 10, 2025)
  11. Interim ROH Women's World Television Championship (won October 18, 2025)
  12. Winnipeg Pro Wrestling WPW Women's Championship (won October 19, 2025)
  13. APAC Women's Championship (won November 16, 2025)
  14. Lineal ROH Women's World Television Championship (won November 19, 2025)

Mone is also set to face Kris Statlander at AEW Full Gear for her AEW Women's World Championship, making it possible she walks out of this week with 15 belts she has to somehow find space for at the airport.
