Mercedes Mone no longer has 11 belts. She now has 12.

The TBS Champion is on a title spree as she won the Interim Women’s ROH Television Champion on Saturday by beating Mina Shirakawa. But if you thought that Mone was going to stop at 11 belts then you're sorely mistaken.

It was already confirmed before WrestleDream that Mone had a date with Jody Threat for the WPW Women’s Championship on Sunday, October 19th. Unfortunately, Threat was unable to beat Mercedes despite giving up a valiant effort to retain her title.

That means Mercedes now holds 12 belts.

The TNA star just won the WPW Women’s Championship from Ava Lawless on Sept. 12th. This was officially her first title defense. Mone is doing the Belt Collector gimmick, so it wasn’t particularly surprising that she won her twelfth title.

Mone hasn’t lost a singles match outside of AEW since 2023 when Willow Nightingale beat her for the vacant NJPW Strong Women’s Championship. Even then, Mone was originally scheduled to win the title that night, but she called an audible after suffering an injury that forced her out of action for months.

At the moment, there’s no other title match scheduled for Mone, though Twelve can turn into thirteen as Mone has challenged Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s World Championship match at Full Gear next month.

Will Mercedes Mone get the big 13 before the year is done? The 33-year-old did attempt to win the AEW Women’s World title at All In, but Mercedes failed to beat Toni Storm in an excellent match. However, the difference between Storm and Kris Statlander is that Mone owns two victories over the current world champion. The first win actually came at Full Gear in 2024. The second saw Statlander come extremely close to dethroning Mone at World’s End, but the “CEO” got the job done.

Will the third time be the charm for Mercedes? We’ll find out at Full Gear! In the meantime, Congratulations to the AEW star for winning her twelfth championship and surpassing Ultimo Dragon’s historic record.
