AEW Revolution 2026 had its fair share of title changes as multiple new champions were crowned throughout the show.
Let's break down all the champions who retained, the ones who were dethroned, and what this all means.
Willow Nightingale Retains TBS Championship, but Loses Women's World Tag Team Championship:
During the Zero Hour pre-show, Willow Nightingale retained the AEW TBS Championship over Lena Kross. A post-match fight left Nightingale worse for wear, which ultimately led to The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) beating Nightingale and Harley Cameron to dethrone The Babes of Wrath for the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship titles.
"Jungle" Jack Perry Wins AEW National Championship:
Another match in the Zero Hour was the 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal, with Ricochet going into the bout as champion, only to be the last person eliminated by "Jungle" Jack Perry, who is our new champion.
Mistico is #AllElite, Wins Trios Titles With JetSpeed:
While Jet Set Rodeo dropped the AEW World Trios Championship to The Don Callis Family's Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis not too long ago, JetSpeed are back with the gold and a new tag team partner in Mistico after they won the titles on this show. Right after that, during their celebration, a graphic appeared on the screen that also said Mistico was now an official member of the All Elite Wrestling roster as well.
Champions Who Retained:
To round out the results, FTR retained the AEW World Tag Team Championship titles over The Young Bucks, but seem to have new challengers set up by the returning Adam Copeland and Christian Cage.
Jon Moxley retained the AEW Continental Championship over Konosuke Takeshita and was attacked by Will Ospreay.
Thekla retained the AEW Women's World Championship over Kris Statlander in their 2-out-of-3 falls match, despite how she would have dropped the title if the referee hadn't been incapacitated during one of Statlander's pinfall attempts.
MJF Retains in Texas Death Match:
The Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship between MJF and "Hangman" Adam Page was beyond a brutal battle, ultimately coming down to Maxwell Jacob Friedman retaining the AEW World Championship, meaning Page can never challenge for the title ever again for the rest of his career.
Personal Reactions & What Happens Next?:
It certainly seemed as though Willow Nightingale was doomed to lose the tag team titles, and I'm down for that. This allows her the chance to focus more on the TBS title. There are too many double champions going on these days, in my opinion.
Jack Perry had to either win the title here or stop feuding with Ricochet, in my opinion. I'm all for giving him a run with this to see where it goes. I don't think it will be a year long reign or anything like that, and I have no idea who could be next in line, as it's hard to distinguish which talent can go for which of the four midcard titles at a time. It could be any number of people, like Andrade El Idolo.
Having Mistico and JetSpeed as a trio should make for a lot of super fun matches. Fantastic. It was a short run for The Don Callis Family, but that's okay.
