MJF Will Be Allowed To Join The Inner Circle... If He Can Defeat Chris Jericho At AEW FULL GEAR

MJF will get his chance to join The Inner Circle, but he'll have to beat Jericho in a one-on-one match to do so.

The Demo God held a town meeting last night on AEW Dynamite in order to determine whether Freedman should be allowed to become a member of the faction. Eric Bischoff was on hand to ask Max a number of questions, to which he gave to usual cheesy, sycophantic answers.

In the end, Jericho told MJF that if he could defeat him at the upcoming Full Gear PPV, he could join the Inner Circle. Max told his "idol" that he will do absolutely anything to win, and the two had a stare-down. Ortiz then informed Max that while Chris and Santana are humouring him, nobody else wants him in the stable.

This should be interesting. Could AEW be building towards MJF replacing Jericho as the leader of The Inner Circle, possibly turning Le Champion face in the process? That's certainly one possible outcome.

MJF and Wardlow will face Ortiz and Guevara in a tag team match next week, so we may get a better idea of where things are headed after that.
