Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite on 34th Street:
On tap for tonight's tapings, we've got three matches in the AEW Continental Classic and the Dynamite Diamond Ring final, so it should be a solid show with some important stakes.
In the Blue League, Konosuke Takeshita faces Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong goes up against Mascara Dorada. Takeshita might have to win this to stay in the tournament and to basically kick Cassidy out of the rankings, and since I think he's facing Kazuchika Okada in the finals, I'm betting on him. Strong is mathematically already defunct, so he might as well lose again to give Dorada some more points, unless Tony Khan wants to make sure Strong doesn't leave with nothing.
In the Gold League, PAC faces "Jungle" Jack Perry. In the same situation, I think Perry needs another three points to really even up the score on all sides there, just for something interesting. At least, that's who I'd book to win.
Bandido and Ricochet for the Dynamite Diamond Ring is a total question mark for me, to be honest. I have no idea. If I had to venture a guess, I'd say Bandido wins, but Ricochet makes more sense in my mind outside of the title shot situation.
Marina Shafir likely beats Mina Shirakawa to keep her heel heat. MJF beats whoever he's up against.
