Taz Reintroduces The FTW Championship During Night 2 Of AEW's FYTER FEST

ECW fans should definitely remember the FTW Championship, and Taz reintroduced the title during AEW Fyster Fest so that Brian Cage would be walking into Fight for the Fallen with some gold of his own...

Old-school ECW fans will no doubt recall Taz (or "Tazz" as he was known at the time) creating a title of his own in the buildup to his feud with Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas. That title was known as the FTW ("[frick] the world") Championship, and it's now in All Elite Wrestling.

The Human Suplex Machine reintroduced the title last night during night 2 of AEW Fyter Fest, handing it over to Brian Cage so that The Machine would no longer be an uncrowned champion, and would head into his match with Jon Moxley at next week's Fight For The Fallen with some gold of his own.

It remains to be seen if the FTW belt will actually be recognized and defended as a legitimate championship (it was mostly used to make a statement in ECW), but either way, it marks the wearer as the "baddest son of a bitch in pro-wrestling."

What do you guys think about the reemergence of the FTW Championship? Is it too soon for Cage to lay claim to it? Let us known in the comments.
