Who will face Adam “Hangman” Page for the AEW World Championship?

Tonight’s AEW special will determine the next challenger for the AEW World Championship for Full Gear. The four way match involves: Samoa Joe, HOOK, Bobby Lashley, and Ricochet.

Joe is a former AEW World Champion. Though The Opps leader had a rather short run in 2023/2024, Joe is still a very dangerous man who can take back the world title with ease. However, Joe came up short against Page at WrestleDream and he wasn’t particularly thrilled about that. So, the former AEW World Champion viciously attacked his former friend. Joe isn’t coming for Page just for the world title. He’s coming to prove that he’s better than the Virginia native.

Bobby Lashley and Ricochet have yet to win any world titles in AEW. However, Lashley is an accomplished athlete who’s previously held the TNA and WWE World Championships. Ricochet is a former Lucha Underground Champion. Both men are veterans who are viable options to beat Page at Full Gear.

HOOK is still finding himself in AEW. He’s had an AEW World title match against Joe, though he got bested by “The Samoan Submission Machine" because he lacked the experience. It’s been over a year since his last world title shot and HOOK has vastly improved since then. The young AEW star is hoping to finally win his first official singles title in the promotion.

The AEW Women’s Tag Team Title tournament officially begins. The first round match has two foes fighting each other as Queen Aminata & Jamie Hayter will take on Julia Hart & Skye Blue. This match is deeper than the tournament as the Triangle of Madness has been a pain in the ass to Hayter and Aminata since Thekla joined AEW earlier this Summer. Aminata and Hayter picked Hart & Skype for the pure reason to beat the crap out of them; however, that could come back and bite them in the ass. Who will be the first team to advance in the AEW Women’s Tag Team title tournament?

The Fright Night special also features another contender’s match for the AEW World Tag Team titles and The Death Riders in action. Check out the advertised line-up below:
