The final show before Forbidden Door.
New Japan Pro Wrestling talent invade the go-home episode of Forbidden Door. In what should be a banger of a match, former International Champion Konosuke Takeshita is scheduled to take on Tomohiro Ishii. Takeshita is coming off the high of winning his first G1 Climax. But Tomohiro is a veteran who can beat up anybody. Will Konosuke Takeshita be able to fend off the New Japan veteran?
The Young Bucks are scheduled to team with The Death Riders for the first ever Lights Out Steel Cage match. However, tonight, they have to deal with The Paragon first. Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly are trying to rebound after a string of losses and a win over the former AEW World Tag Team Champs will surely do it. The disadvantage for the Bucks is that they have to be careful as they need to be fresh and ready to go for their match that is just 24 hours away. Will The Paragon score an upset victory? Or will the Bucks continue their momentum heading into the Forbidden Door?
A special eight man tag team match features Hiromu Takahashi, who is set to challenge Kyle Fletcher for the International title on Sunday. He’ll team with Sky Flight (Scorpio Sky, Dante Martin, and Darius Martin) to take on Don Callis Family members Josh Alexander, Lance Archer, Hechicero, and Rocky Romero. Will the Don Callis family be able to soften Takahashi up before his big title match? Or will the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion give a sample of what he’ll do on Sunday night?
