The Hurt Syndicate and The Demand will finish this once and for all at WrestleDream.
Last year, Ricochet made pleads to joining Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley, and MVP, and the former WWE United States Champion was shot down. Harshly. In fact, the way that The Hurt Syndicate rejected Ricochet was so embarrassing that it was hard for him to come back from an image perspective.
But Ricochet managed to get a measure of revenge once he joined forces with Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona. He screwed over Lashley and Benjamin at Forbidden Door and these two teams have been at odds ever since.
The last time these teams fought each other, Benjamin and Lashley got rid of Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona then they took turns beating the crap out of Ricochet. But the AEW star declared that it wasn’t over between The Hurt Syndicate and The Demand until they won the war.
It was already confirmed that The Demand would take on The Hurt Syndicate, but there was no way that a referee was going to be able to contain these teams, so the bout has added a special tornado tag stipulation. That means that there will be no tags in this match, which allows these teams to fight until the last trio is standing.
Who will emerge victorious once all is said and done? We’ll find out this Saturday!
