The Young Bucks will challenge FTR for the AEW Tag Team Championships at Full Gear.

The Bucks defeated Private Party, Butcher & Blade and Alex Reynolds & John Silver in an exciting four way no. 1 contenders match when Matt Jackson reversed a cradle attempt by Isaiah Kassidy and scored the pin himself. FTR, who had been on commentary, then made their way to the ring to "congratulate" their next challengers.

When Matt and Nick slapped the beers out of their hands, Tully Blanchard attacked them from behind with a steel chair and the beat-down commenced. Cash ended up stomping on Matt's left leg while it was wrapped around the chair, possibly "breaking" it.

It seems clear that Cash and Dax are supposed to be the heels in this situation, but The Bucks are such unlikable dicks that it's really a bit of a stretch. AEW should have made the distinction clearer for what many consider to be a dream match. Faces vs. faces might have worked, but heels vs. heels? A much harder sell.

Anyway, the match is now set for the Full Gear PPV. Who do you want to see come out on top here?
