Tonight’s Fyter Fest will feature three big championship matches.
In the most heated match-up of the night, Cody Rhodes will put his TNT Championship on the line against Jake Hager. Both men have been at each other throats since the beginning of Dynamite back in October 2019. The Elite got the last laugh at Double or Nothing by beating the Inner Circle in a Stadium Stampede match; however, will Hager return the favor by beating Cody Rhodes and taking away the TNT Championship?
For the AEW World Tag Team titles, Adam Page & Kenny Omega will defend their belts against Trent and Chuckie T of Best Friends. After some issues between the AEW World Tag Team Champs, both men have seemingly grown stronger as a pair and have picked up big wins since their return.
However, Trent and Chuckie T have been a strong unit for years, though the pair have yet to capture any tag belts together. Trent is a former multi-time IWGP Junior Tag Team Champion and Taylor is a former EVOLVE Tag Team Champion, will they add the AEW World Tag Team titles to their resume?
For the AEW Women’s Championship, Hikaru Shida will defend her belt against Penelope Ford in her first title defense. The challenger has been a problem for the newly crowned champion in recent weeks, with Ford actually holding a pinfall win over Shida several weeks back. With Kip Sabian by her side, will Penelope Ford become the fourth AEW Women’s Champion in history?
All this and more is set for night one of Fyter Fest that begins at 8pm Eastern Time. Check out the confirmed matches below:
