While it wasn't the case for Konosuke Takeshita, who lost the AEW International Championship to Kenny Omega, every other champion walking into AEW Revolution 2025 managed to leave with their titles still in their possession, even if they were left worse for wear and a bloody mess.
Four champions—three from Ring of Honor specifically—were in action, but their titles weren't in danger. That is because ROH World Television Champion Komander and ROH Pure Champion Lee Johnson were opposite each other in a tag team bout, AEW TNT Champion Daniel Garcia teamed with The Undisputed Kingdom in an eight-man tag team match, and ROH World Champion Chris Jericho beat down his opponent, Gravity, before their match could even begin.
On the main card, Mercedes Moné—who also holds the Undisputed British Women's Championship from RevPro, New Japan Pro-Wrestling's NJPW STRONG Women's Championship, and the Queen of the Southside Championship—successfully defended just her AEW TBS Championship over Momo Watanabe, who earned the title shot by winning the International Women's Cup four-way at Wrestle Dynasty. There's a chance Watanabe was injured in this match, unfortunately.
Next up, Kazuchika Okada retained the AEW Continental Championship over Brody King, followed by The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) retaining the AEW World Tag Team Championship titles over The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd).
Things took a bloody turn for the Falls Count Anywhere match between "Timeless" Toni Storm and "The Glamour" Mariah May, who had one of the most brutal bouts of the night with their Hollywood Ending match for the AEW Women's World Championship.
Both women got busted open and became a sanguinary mess in large part due to a bucket of broken glass brought out by Storm, as a shattered champagne bottle has been instrumental to their rivalry. Of course, it wasn't just those razor-sharp shards that caused damage, but the steel steps (which May gave Storm a Storm Zero on top of), the security barricade, a table off the stage via a choke bomb, a shoe (that May did not watch out for) and a table that was decorated with "The Hollywood Ending" printed on it that led to the grand finale, as Storm put her former friend away with a Storm Zero to retain her title.
