Two featherweights are set to clash at Bellator Europe 8 in London as Saul Rogers will take on Rob Whiteford on May 16.
A former UFC fighter, Rogers is coming off a loss to Daniel Weichel at Bellator 228. Prior to the loss, the England native had more wins than losses in his last six fights, besting Aiden Lee, Michell Adelina, and Andre Winner. Rogers’ professional record currently stands at 13 wins and 3 losses.
Also a former UFC featherweight, Whiteford has been on a winning streak since losing his bout to Lucas Martins at UFC Fight Night: Rothwell vs. Junior dos Santos in 2016. The 145-pound fighter bested Kevin Petshi, Nam Phan, Kane Mousah, and Sam Sicilia. Whiteford’s professional record currently stands at 16 wins and 4 losses.
