A big welterweight bout has been added to the upcoming Bellator MMA show in France as Michael Page will take on former Cage Warriors Bantamweight Champion Ross Houston at the upcoming event.
Coming in, Page has an impressive three-fight winning streak going as the welterweight has gotten three KO wins over Richard Kiely (Bellator 227), Giovanni Melillo (Bellator London 2), and Shinsho Anzai (Bellator & Rizin: Japan). The 33-year-old only has one blemish on his record, which is against Bellator Welterweight Champion Douglas Lima. Overall, Page’s professional record stands at 17 wins and 1 loss.
Houston enters the contest with some big momentum himself as the former Cage Warriors Bantamweight Champion has yet to be beaten inside of the octagon. The Scotland native not only made a name for himself in Cage Warriors, but also Scottish Fight Challenge and On Top Promotions. Houston’s professional record currently stands at 8 wins and 0 losses.
The welterweight match-up is set for Bellator 248 on October 10, with Cheick Kongo vs. Timothy Johnson expected to headline the event.
