A catchweight bout has been confirmed for Bellator 243 as Derek Campos vs. Adam Borics is set for the upcoming event.

Campos is coming off a submission loss to A.J. McKee at Bellator 236; The Texas native has a spotty record in his last five fights, with Campos’ only victory coming against Daniel Straus at Bellator 226. His additional losses to Patricky Freire, Sam Sicilia, and Pedro Carvalho have sent the fighter down in the rankings. Campos’ professional record currently stands at 20 wins and 10 losses.

Borics’ professional record currently stands at 14 wins and 1 loss.

Bellator 243 takes place on Friday, August 7 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Michael Chandler and Ben Henderson headlining. The placement of the catchweight fight is currently unknown.
