The latest Bellator event will see Douglas Lima (32-7) and Gegard Mousasi (46-7-2) fight for the vacant Bellator MMA Middleweight title.
Coming in, the former Bellator MMA Middleweight World Champion is looking to secure another win for the prestigious belt. Since joining Bellator in 2017, Mousasi has only suffered one loss and has managed to beat former champions Lyoto Machida, Rory MacDonald, and Rafael Carvalho.
Lima enters the contest already holding the Bellator Welterweight World Championship, with the 32-year-old currently in the midst of a strong three-fight winning streak. Lima has only suffered three losses in his nine-year tenure with Bellator and has won 10 fights by submission or TKO.
In the co-main event, Brandon Girtz (16-9) and Henry Corrales (17-5) will battle at 145-pounds. Both featherweights are looking to rebound following their recent losses, though the two fighters have over five TKO and submission wins combined.
