A lightweight bout is confirmed for August 7.

Bellator 243 is just a couple of weeks away and the company continues to build the line-up as Myles Jury vs. Georgi Karakhanyan is set for the upcoming event.

Jury finally snapped a three-fight losing streak with a win over Brandon Girtz at Bellator 239. The former UFC star only has two wins in his last five fights, also beating Rick Glenn (via unanimous decision at UFC 219) during his stint in the UFC. While the lightweight has suffered a bit of a setback recently, the veteran does own strong wins over Diego Sanchez and Michael Johnson. Jury’s professional record currently stands at 18 wins and 5 losses.

Georgi Karakhanyan also broke a two-fight losing streak with a submission win over Paul Redmond at Bellator 240. The lightweight’s only other win in his last five fights is against Alexey Polpudnikov via unanimous decision. Karakhanyan’s professional record currently stands at 29 wins, 10 losses, and 1 no contest.
