Thiago Alves finally has a new home going forward.
It wasn’t too long ago when the former UFC fighter stated that he was testing free agency, though he was in no rush to sign with any promotion. However, it’s now been confirmed that Thiago Alves has signed a multi-fight deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
Speaking to
MMA Fighting, the Bare Knuckle FC President revealed that the MMA veteran is expected to make his debut in April or May, though he didn’t confirm who he could end up facing in his debut for the promotion.
Alves joins a slew of former UFC fighters in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, as Chris Leben, Artem Lobov, Michael McDonald, and Jason Knight compete in the promotion as well. Alves enters the promotion on a two-fight losing streak, as he dropped his final UFC bouts against Laureano Staropoli and Tim Means. The Brazilian enters with a professional record of 23 wins and 15 losses.
