A big title bout has been confirmed for Bellator 254 as Bellator Flyweight Champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane will defend her belt against Juliana Velasquez on Dec. 10.

Since beating Emily Ducote to become the inaugural champion, Ilima-Lei Macfarlane has successfully defended her title against Alejandra Lara, Valérie Létourneau, Veta Arteaga, and Kate Jackson. The undefeated fighter has managed to win five out of her last six fights via TKO or submission. Overall, Ilima-Lei Macfarlane’s professional record stands at 11 wins and 0 losses.

Like the Bellator Flyweight Champion, Velasquez enters the contest undefeated. Since joining the company in 2017, Velasquez has beaten Na Liang, Rebecca Ruth, Alejandra Lara, Kristina Williams, and Bruna Ellen. The undefeated flyweight’s record stands at 10 wins and 0 losses.

Thus far, the flyweight title fight is the only bout confirmed for the Bellator show on Dec. 10 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. Macfarlane vs. Velasquez is expected to headline the event.
