Abu Azaitar will no longer compete at UFC Fight Island 5 for undisclosed reasons. Originally, the middleweight was set to face Joaquin Buckley at the upcoming event; however, Impa Kasanganay has been confirmed as his replacement.

Buckley failed to win his UFC debut against Kevin Holland at UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Oleiniki. That loss actually snapped a two-fight winning streak that he earned in Legacy Fighting Alliance and Bellator MMA. Buckley enters with a professional record of 10 wins and 3 losses.

Kasangany is coming into his second UFC bout strong as the fighter currently remains undefeated in his professional career. The middleweight impressed during his stint in Dana White’s Contender Series and got a unanimous decision victory over Maki Pitolo at UFC Fight Night 175. Kasangany’s professional record currently stands at 8 wins and 0 losses.
