The main event for Invicta FC 41 has been set.
The all-women’s promotion is quickly running again as Invicta FC will hold their second pay-per-view since their return to live events. On Thursday, July 30, in Kansas City, Kan., Janaisa Morandin will officially take on Montserrat Ruiz.
Morandin is hoping to rebound after her back-to-back losses against Emily Ducote (via KO at Invicta FC 36) and Virna Jandiroba (via submission at Invicta FC 31). The strawweight’s record in her last five fights has been a mixed bag as Morandin only has two wins, dropping Kinberly Tanaka Novaes and Paula Vieira da Silva. Her professional record currently stands at 10 wins and 3 losses.
Ruiz will be making her return after a nearly two-year hiatus. The strawweight is also coming in after a loss, dropping a bout to Danielle Taylor (via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 33) in her debut with Invicta FC. Still, Ruiz holds an impressive record as she’s managed to win four out of her last five fights. Her professional record currently stands at 8 wins and 1 loss.
Invicta FC 41 is set to air on July 30 on UFC Fight Pass. The co-main event for the show features Erin Blanchfield taking on Stephanie Geltmacher. Check out the advertised line-up thus far:
