A new welterweight bout has been confirmed for the UFC Fight Night: Hall vs. Silva event as Jason Witt and Cole Williams will clash at the event.
Witt failed to get a victory in his UFC debut and the loss actually snapped a solid four-fight winning streak that the welterweight had coming in. Prior to his UFC debut, Witt fought in Fighting Alliance Championship, Final Fight Championship, and Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA). His professional record currently stands at 17 wins and 6 losses.
Williams is also winless in the UFC thus far as the welterweight was beaten by Claudio Henrique da Silva at UFC on ESPN 5. Like Witt, Williams made a huge impact outside of the UFC and came into the promotion on a strong nine-fight winning streak thanks to his time in Chosen Few Fighting Championships, Pinnacle Combat MMA, and Mainstream MMA. His professional record currently stands at 11 wins and 2 losses.
