Jimmy Flick is the new LFA Flyweight Champion!

UFC and Bellator MMA weren’t the only promotions to make their mark this past weekend as Legacy Fighting Alliance made their return with a vacant flyweight title bout between Jimmy Flick and Greg Fischer.

Coming in, Flick had one strong submission victory over Jesse Bazzi at Freestyle Cage Fighting, whereas Fischer was on a three-fight winning streak by defeating Blaine Shutt, Terry Bartholomew, and Carlos Vera. However, that didn’t matter on Friday as Flick made quick work of his opponent by scoring a submission within 38 seconds of the first round.

The bout was a one-sided affair that saw Flick’s technical ability on strong display that led to an arm-triangle choke. Elsewhere on the card, Arthur Estrazulas, Fabio Cherant, and Mando Gutierrez also got submission victories in their respective fights at LFA 86.
