Jake Paul may have found his next opponent and it's someone that probably no one expected -- his brother, Logan Paul. The two brothers announced on social media a mysterious event that will take place on March 27th and be streamed on Max.

"The moment you've waited a decade for... March 27th on [Max]," the announcement reads alongside a promotional poster featuring the two brothers facing off.

The announcement has led to widespread speculation that the two will  be fighting each other; however, ESPN reports that the event is actually a "reality series," not a boxing match. Unfortunately, that's about all the source revealed as the premise of the reality series "isn't clear."

Jake and Logan Paul are two of the biggest names in sports entertainment right now. The 29-year-old Logan Paul has been signed to WWE since June 2022 and performs on a part-time basis as part of the Raw brand. He's a former WWE United States Champion and one of the more entertaining stars on the roster.

Prior to joining the WWE, Paul dabbled in boxing. After two fights against KSI in 2018 and 2019, Paul fought in his first professional boxing match in 2023, defeating Dillon Danis via disqualification. His biggest match came in 2021 against former five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. The exhibition bout went the full eight rounds, but no winner was announced.

Jake Paul has found even more success in the boxing ring. The 28-year-old has fought some pretty big names over the past couple of years, including former MMA fighters Ben Askren, Tyson Woodley (twice), Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, and Mike Perry. His ability to not just beat, but even knock out some of these former MMA fighters -- some of which were champions -- has led many to accuse Paul of fixing the fights.

Still, people continue to tune in. Paul's pay-per-view fights regularly put up huge numbers, making him on of boxing's most electrifying entertainers.

His biggest fight was undoubtedly his bout against Mike Tyson in November 2024. The Netflix special event saw Paul defeat the former undisputed heavyweight champion via unanimous decision. The event drew more than 108 million viewers globally. Promoters said that the Tyson-Paul fight was the highest-grossing combat sports event ever in Texas. It was also one of BetMGM's most-bet boxing or mixed martial arts fights of all time.

Given the star power of both of these individuals, there's no doubt this event -- whatever it turns out to be -- will be a major one.
