Mason Jones is now a two-division champion!

Cage Warriors held their latest pay-per-view over the weekend and a vacant Cage Warriors Welterweight Championship match between Mason Jones and Adam Proctor headlined the event.

Jones was coming off a massive win at Cage Warriors 113 as the 25-year-old beat Joe McColgan via first-round TKO to secure the Cage Warriors Lightweight title. Jones managed to repeat his success over Adam Proctor as he defeated his opponent in a first-round TKO to win the vacant Cage Warriors Welterweight Championship.

Following the match-up, Jones didn’t hesitate to give a shoutout to Dana White and matchmaker Sean Shelby (Transcript courtesy of MMA Fighting):

“I’ll be ready to go in a week, in two weeks, in four,” Jones said after his win. “Find the biggest, deadliest lightweight monster you can find and I’ll go out there and dismantle them. Dig me up the biggest monster you can find, and I’ll put them away in two.”
