Mason Jones is now the new Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion!

Last night, Cage Warriors held their 113 pay-per-view in Manchester, England, which was a closed off show due to the coronavirus. Jones fought Joe McColgan for the vacant belt in the co-main event and the contest was a quick affair with the Wales native getting the TKO win in the first round.

This is the first championship Jones has won in his professional career thus far. The lightweight also advances his undefeated record to nine wins, previously besting names such as Kacper Formela, Craig Edwards, and Aleksi Mantykivi.
