ONE Championship is returning soon!
Since April, the Japanese promotion has been forced to cancel numerous events such as ONE Championship: Hope and ONE Championship: Strength due to the coronavirus pandemic. Unfortunately, the promotion also had to release some staff due to their financial situation as well.
However, ONE Championship will be making it’s return next month on July 31 as the company confirmed that they will be back live with their pay-per-view, No Surrender:
Other than the date for the event and naming Thailand as the location for No Surrender, no other details regarding the match card or whether fans will be allowed to attend the event are known at this time.
ONE has been forced to axe several huge bouts since March, with the ONE Middleweight Championship fight between Aung La N Sang and Vitaly Bigdash being one of the notable bouts scrapped from the last several pay-per-views. It’s possible that the cancelled match-ups will be rescheduled for the July show; however, that is just pure speculation on my end.
As always, we’ll keep you updated when fights are officially set for their return show.
