A lightweight bout will headline Bellator Dublin on October 3 as Patricky “Pitbull” Freire will take on Peter Queally.
Despite an impressive performance during the Lightweight Grand Prix, the Brazil native is looking to bounce back from his loss against Tofiq Musayev. Prior to his tournament loss, the 34-year-old was on a strong seven-fight winning streak, besting fighters such as Luiz Gustavo, Tatsuya Kawajiri, and Benson Henderson. Freire’s professional record currently stands at 23 wins and 9 losses.
Queally is hoping to build up momentum following his big win over Ryan Scope at Bellator 227. Thus far, the Ireland native has had mixed results in Bellator MMA as Queally lost his debut bout to Myles Price at Bellator 217. Queally’s professional record currently stands at 12 wins and 5 losses.
Bellator Dublin will take place at the 3Arena with Patricky “Pitbull” Freire vs. Peter Queally set to headline the special show.
