Bellator 247 was a night of quick finishes.
The MMA promotion made its debut on the CBS Sports Network and the main card for Bellator 247 all had fast finishes. In the main event, Kate Jackson looked to rebound after her losing the Women’s Flyweight title fight, but Denise Kielholtz got the win due to a first-round TKO.
Kielholtz started out fast with flurries and Jackson just couldn’t cover up all the punches that the featherweight was throwing. A left hook knocked Jackson to the floor and the referee waved off the match-up as a TKO after a few more punches.
The co-main event was more of an even affair, with Zerhouni landing some nice punches early on. However, once the fight went to the ground, Novenyi Jr. tried several submission attempts that Zerhouni was able to get out of, but he was ultimately caught in a triangle choke and tapped at 4:36.
The rest of the card saw either a TKO or submission, with only two fights ending via unanimous decision. Check out the full results of Bellator 247 below:
