Taura MMA has signed two more veterans.
Recently, the promotion has confirmed deals with former UFC star Eric Spicely, and now, Daron Cruickshank and Kyle Bochniak of UFC fame will also join Spicely in the MMA promotion. MMA Fighting first reported the news that both talents will make their way over to the company, though Cruickshank has signed a one-fight deal, and Bochniak signed a three-fight deal.
Coming in, Cruickshank is currently in the midst of a three-fight losing streak. The lightweight is mainly known for his four-year stint in the UFC starting back in 2012. Cruickshank began his run in the company with solid wins over Chris Tickle and Henry Martinez; however, the veteran failed to get any significant wins during his tenure with the UFC.
He was eventually released following his loss to Paul Felder at UFC Fight Night 81, which came after his two consecutive losses to James Krause and Beneil Dariush. Cruickshank has managed to see the most success in Rizin Fighting Federation since then. His overall professional record stands at 22 wins and 13 losses.
Bochniak also enters the promotion on a three-fight losing streak as well. His stint with the UFC saw the fighter rack up more losses than wins, with his only victories being against Enrique Barzola and Brandon Davis. The featherweight’s biggest wins come from his time in Classic Entertainment and Sports, with his professional record currently standing at 8 wins and 5 losses.
At the moment, both veterans will make their Taura MMA debut on October 30, though their opponents have yet to be confirmed.
