The winner of Ultimate Fighter: Brazil has joined the Professional Fighters League.
The former UFC light heavyweight will make his debut in the promotion’s third season in June; however, his opponent has yet to be determined.
Ferreria made his name in TUF: Brazil back in 2012; The 35-year-old successfully beat Gustavo Sampaio, Leonardo Mafra, and Thiago Perpetuo to make it into the finals of the competition. At UFC 147, the light heavyweight defeated Sérgio Moraes to win the first season of TUF: Brazil.
Following the big victory, the Brazil native continued on with some solid momentum by getting victories over Thiago Santos and Daniel Sarafian before losing to C.B. Dollaway in March 2014. Since then, Ferreria's tenure within the UFC saw his wins outweigh his losses; however, his final fights in the company resulted in two unanimous decision losses to Marvin Vettori and Ian Heinisch.
Cezar hasn’t fought inside of the octagon since July 2019. His professional record currently stands at 13 wins and 8 losses.
